I really like the drum sounds in these songs. I think a lot of the drums they use on Back Catalogue are simple, minimal and really catchy. Check out "Controversy Between":

Other then the drums on that song I like the overall feel of it right down to the distant vocals and the un-emotional synth-line.

Another good thing about that song is the noisy intro bit.
